The inscription on the cornerstone for the Freedom Tower reads "To honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and as a tribute to the enduring spirit of freedom."

The stone was removed from Ground Zero in 2006 and has been in the yard of the company that cut and polished it since then.
The name of the building it was to be a part of isn't even the same anymore. The Freedom Tower will now be called One World TradeSource: Queens Crap RSS Feed
